An open memo to the Members of the Florida Owners Group.
I have owned the 356 since the mid 80's and have enjoyed it immensely! It has come time to part ways. I have pondered this decision for some time and have struggled on how to go about selling such a great car. Two things I know I would like.
(1) For the 356 to go to somebody who really enjoys the model and understands what it means to own and drive a 356. I think all who read this memo do.
(2) I have lived in Florida and would like no better than to have somebody in our great state enjoy this car.
With that said I thought no better way than to reach out to true enthusiast of the 356 Model who live in Florida - The Florida Owners Group.
About the car:
-Ground Up Restoration in 1995
-Engine is strong and sorted out
-Body in very good shape
-Interior is good shape - Replaced in mid-90's
-Not an everyday driver. Probaly averaged a drive per month since 97'. A lot less since 2004.
-Garage Kept
-Professionally maintained by German Imports of Largo Florida.
Reason to Sell; No major reason. I just feel we had a great run and it is time to move on.
If you have any interest or conduct a "show" for Club Members please advise.

Rob- I have given your post some publicity. If you sell the car to someone in Florida please let me know their name and email so I can contact them to join FOG.

Just talked to the owner, car is sold. He does not know how it got put on the message board, it was sold over a year ago to California
