This is a shot in the dark but I wonder if any of the FOG oldtimers have any information on my Speedster.
It's a 1958 Normal (84332) that was purchased new from Brumos in Jacksonville. Originally it was Ivory with Black interior but somewhere along the way it was painted Red.
The earliest owner I know of was Kenneth W. Weatherby. Mr. Weatherby is elderly now and still lives in Jacksonville, but he could only tell me he thought the car was Ivory when he had it. He couldn't remember who he bought the car from. He sold the car to Charles M. Simonsen, a Naval Officer, in 1974. Unfortunately, Lt. Simonsen passed away several years ago. He sold the car to Ned Fellers, of Michigan, in 1976, and I bought the car from him in 2004. 84332 went through a complete 3 year restoration (back to Ivory/Black) by Bob Campbell in California, and we've had the car in Seattle since 2007.
If anyone has any information on the previous owner(s) and history of this little gem, I'd really appreciate hearing about it!
Thanks for your consideration.
