Welcome!

The Porsche 356 Florida Owners Group (FOG) had its start in March of 1993 when the founders got tired of waiting for someone else to start a club.  The inaugural meeting at the Collier Automotive Museum in Naples drew about thirty-five 356s and sentiment for forming the club was unanimous.  The first President was Rich Williams, with Mark Peebles as Vice-President and Mike McNabb as Secretary-Treasurer.

Florida is a large state with a widely-scattered population of people and 356s. It was realized from the outset that a newsletter was vital to maintaining communication among members, and Thom Kyle volunteered to publish it.  RIch Williams is currently the editor.

Club enthusiasm ran high from the start, and within three years FOG hosted the East Coast Holiday - Gatorfest '96 - at Cypress Gardens.  Three years later FOG hosted another East Coast Holiday at St. Augustine.

We are now over 210 members strong and welcome all 356 enthusiasts.  Go to the Membership tab to learn how to join.
