2021 Gathering of the Faithful (GOF)

The Concours and Banquet Lunch will be on Saturday the 27th and for those that wish to stay, there will be a Saturday evening get together with food and drink and  Sunday morning coffee and pastries. The Pavilion on Lake Harris is owned and operated by Mission Inn, Howie in the Hills, FL. It is close but not in the Mission Inn Resort complex.  FOG will abide by state laws and guidelines regarding the Covid situation.  We will practice safe distancing and encourage mask wearing were applicable.  Cars will be spaced adequately on the field and The Pavilion seats 140 and with 50% restrictions can comfortably seat 70 people.

 

Hotel Reservations/General Info: We have reserved a very limited number of rooms at The Mission Inn at a reduced rate with a further rate reduction if staying two nights; resort fees have been waived. Rates are $179 for single night and $152/night for two nights (valid Friday, Saturday and Sunday). To reserve a room, call Reservation Dept. at 1-800-874-9053 by Wednesday, January 27 and mention Porsche 356 Florida Owners Group to receive reduced rate. A deposit will be required at time of reservation and is refundable with written (e-mail) notice of cancellation received 72 hours prior to arrival. There are other lodging options nearby and a list of those will be forthcoming.

Please do not book a room through other means as it will not count toward our room allocation guarantee. 

 

Event Registration: Saturday Concours and Buffet Luncheon/Awards Ceremony is $60 per member, $100 for Member with spouse/guest, additional attendees are $60 each. Saturday evening food and beverage and Sunday morning coffee and pastries is $30 per person. You must be a current FOG member to attend the GOF.

Event Cancellation Policy:  Received by Feb 10, 100% refund less $15 administration fee. No refunds if received by Feb 11th or later. Cancellation notifications must be in writing or email and sent to the event Registrar. If you have special dietary needs, contact the Registrar.

 

People’s Choice Concours: The Concours will be located on the lawn adjacent to the Pavilion and you may leave the cars on the lawn during the lunch. The fees are for the full event, there is no “Concours Only” fee.

 

Please refer to “Concours Eligibility” for 2021 GOF (link below.) The Concours is open to the public if you wish just to be a spectator.
